About the role: Senior Customer Service Representative
As a Senior Customer Service Representative with us, your main job is to make sure our customers have a great experience. You’ll:
- Talk and work with our customers to meet their needs.
- Work closely with different teams in our company, always keeping our company’s goals in mind.
What you’ll be doing:
- Give a warm and professional welcome to everyone, while making sure to keep to our security rules.
- Lead and grow the Customer Service team, making sure their goals align with ours.
- Talk about our insurance offers and suggest extra products to our current customers.
- Solve common problems with our products or services and get help when needed.
- Provide accurate answers about our products and services.
- Handle daily admin tasks.
- Make sure customer payments are processed and check the payment system every day.
- Train the Customer Service team about our products and the rules they need to follow.
- Suggest better ways to do things.
- Build strong relationships inside the company and keep in line with Islands Insurance’s focus on great customer experience.
What you’ll need:
- Led a customer service team before.
- Good grades in Maths & English (like GCSE’s at Grade C or more).
- A willingness to work towards a professional qualification.
- Experience in a busy role focused on serving customers.
- Top-notch customer service and people skills.
- Ability to handle problems and avoid conflict.
- Sharp eye for details and good at organising.
- Ability to juggle many tasks, set priorities, and manage your time well.
Nice to have:
- Deep knowledge of the insurance scene in the Channel Islands.
- Knowledge of the latest tools and tech for customer service.
- Extra certifications in customer service or insurance.
