To identify which insurer you are covered with, your policy schedule will either shown NFU Mutual or Millstream Underwriting Limited (Please note all Millstream policy numbers start with ITI, ISD and ISL).

Alternatively, please contact us or request a callback and one of our insurance experts, who will be able to confirm who you are insured with and give you guidance on how to proceed.

Policy from 18 November 2019

If you need to make a travel insurance claim, Millstream claims handlers and emergency assistance companies are here to help.

If possible please have your policy number to hand together with your relevant key pieces of information for example, the date and time of the event.

If you do not have these documents to hand, don’t worry as we understand that this can be a difficult and stressful time.

If an incident occurs which may give rise to a claim, please report the incident to us as soon as you can.

If your property has been stolen, or any other illegal activity has occurred please also contact the local police where you are traveling.

If you have been hurt or injured please seek medical assistance as soon as possible.

Making a Claim

Before making a claim please have details of:

  • Your dates and times of travel
  • The amount you’re claiming for
  • Details of any other insurance policies you have that may cover the same loss
  • Original receipts and accounts for all out of pocket expenses, bills or invoices you’ve had to pay
  • Any other information or documentation that you think is relevant to your claim

Remember, the more details you give us, the quicker we can process your claim.
