Islands proud to support the Big Ride Out 2026 in aid of Holidays for Heroes Jersey.
Taking place on Sunday 24th May 2026 at 11am, the Big Ride Out is a highlight of the Island’s summer calendar, bringing together hundreds of bikers for a spectacular journey across Jersey, travelling from St Catherine’s Breakwater to Corbière, before finishing at the Watersplash. The event continues to play a vital role in raising funds and awareness for the charity’s work supporting veterans and their families.
This year’s ride will once again be delivered with the support of local biker clubs and in coordination with the Island’s Constables and Chefs de Police, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for both riders and spectators.
“This is a fantastic event for Holidays for Heroes, enjoyed by riders and spectators alike,” said Richard Harwood. “It’s always an incredible sight seeing so many bikes come together for such a great cause. Tickets are likely to sell out in advance, so we’d encourage riders to secure theirs early – only bikes with official event stickers will be able to take part in the ride.”
Tickets are available exclusively from OBB for a minimum donation of £10 (cash only). Due to the popularity of the event and limited capacity, riders are encouraged to secure their place early.
As part of its sponsorship, Islands will also be running a special prize draw at this year’s event, giving ticketholders the chance to win up to £400 towards a motorcycle insurance policy. Entry is only available to those attending the event, with full details on how to enter provided on the day.
Holidays for Heroes Jersey provides much-needed respite breaks for injured service personnel, veterans, and their families. The Big Ride Out is one of the charity’s key fundraising events, helping to make these breaks possible.
