Optional benefits
Our van insurance is ideal for tradesmen and businesses that use their vehicles as tools which can lead to gaps in coverage due to grey areas in how the vehicle is used. At Islands, we understand this gap which is why we offer a greater level of protection in our optional benefits package. Some of these extra benefits allow you to receive a discount for multi-vehicle and restricted drivers, coverage for damage to underground services when using the vehicle as a tool, and coverage for your trailer when it’s not attached to your vehicle.

We can give up to 15% discount if you restrict the drivers on your vehicle.
We can cover you for damage to underground services when using your vehicle as a tool and include fitted machinery (i.e. hi-abs etc.).

If you are using the vehicle for hire and reward then the policy can be extended.
