Insuring Your Military Vehicle
Our military vehicle insurance policy covers genuine, ex-military vehicles that are at least 10 years old, have a max. value of up to £100,000 and are painted in colours appropriate to their military experience. This policy can cover a range of military vehicles including ex-military Land Rovers, lorries, transporters, tanks and armoured personnel carriers. We can also cover specialist equipment under this policy which can include trailers, limbers and field guns.
This policy includes cover for vehicles while participating at shows or static displays, but excludes demonstrations or battle re-enactments. This policy requires the insured to have held a full licence for a minimum of 3 years and to be at least 21 years of age.

No, specialist vehicle policies provide this extension as normally it would be covered under your standard comprehensive private car policy.

If you have Comprehensive cover, you have windscreen cover, subject to you paying the excess noted on your schedule of insurance.
Can I take my Specialist Vehicle on Holiday?
